I am currently a senior at The University of West Georgia seeking a BFA in Art Education.  After graduation in April 2015, I plan to find employment as an art instructor at the elementary level in a public or private school setting. I am also looking forward to volunteering time and services in my community to help advocate for the importance of art and art related instruction to both children and adults.

When not working on class assignments I enjoy spending time with my husband, two daughters, three cats, one dog, and coffee pot.

Some of my favorite artists are Alexander Calder, Henri Matisse, Joan Miro, Paul Klee, Richard Diebenkorn, Rex Ray, Louise Bourgeois, Antony Gormley, Tony Cragg, Gemma Correll, Jen Schultz, and Clint Samples.
